Birgitta V. Olson of Wellfleet, (previously) employed by the City of Wellfleet, died on April 30, 2021 in Wellfleet, MA. She was predeceased by her husband Anders and daughter Margret in 1956 and 1957.
Born on October 8, 1930 in Naugatuck, Connecticut, Ms. Olson graduated from Vassar School in 1952, and did graduate work in mediaeval Germanic literature at The John Hopkins College, the Universität Münster, Germany and the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Research on the College of Toronto, Canada. She taught German language and literature at John Hopkins and for twenty years on the College of Toronto. She was a member of the non secular neighborhood of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto for ten years.
