Tuesday on CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront,” Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) referred to as out the 21 Republican Home members who voted towards laws to award Congressional Gold Medals to Capitol cops who responded to the riots on January 6.
He declared they have been “now are a part of the insurrectionist mob.”
Burnett mentioned, “What’s your place to the 21 Republicans who voted towards giving these officers the gold medal?”
Connolly mentioned, “I believe this can be a new low for this crowd. They voted to overturn an election, however of their vote as we speak, they sort of sealed the deal of principally affiliating with the mob. They now are a part of the insurrectionist mob. They introduced monumental disrepute and dishonor on themselves in not honoring the courageous women and men who defended the Capitol of the US, all people in it, but additionally defending the image of democracy on the earth, not simply right here in the US.
