YOUNGSTOWN — Mrs. Grace J. Wallace, 78, entered everlasting relaxation Saturday, June 12, 2021.
Mrs. Wallace was born Sept. 11, 1942, in Youngstown, a daughter of Jesse and Dorothy Hardy Harris. She was a 1960 graduate of East Excessive College and had been employed 30 years with Delphi Packard Electrical, retiring in 1999. She was a trustworthy member of New Hope Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved line dancing, procuring, cooking, travelling and was a sports activities fanatic — particularly for the Oakland Raiders first, then the Cleveland Browns and Cavaliers.
Her husband, Edwin Wallace Jr., whom she married Could 6, 1977, handed away March 30, 2014.
She leaves to perpetually cherish her reminiscence, three kids, April Artis of Atlanta, Ga., the Rev. Gabriel (Banajie) Artis Jr., of Columbus and Edwin (Kristin) Wallace of Youngstown; 4 grandchildren, Gabriel II and Taylor Artis, and Elyse and Olivia Wallace; two great-granddaughters, Alexis and Khalani; her brother, Donald Josey of Buffalo, N.Y.; and a number of household and associates.
She was preceded in demise by her mother and father and husband.
Visitation will probably be Saturday, June 19, 2021, from 9 to 10 a.m. at New Hope Baptist Church. Non-public companies will observe for the household. Because of the pandemic, all visitor are requested to please put on masks and observe social distancing.
